Session on youth-led climate change projects in a form of short presentations of unique projects that feature innovation and new solutions to climate change effects

Youth Roundtables

Youth from across the country will sit together and discuss current issues related to climate change, what they are doing about it and suggest what should be done to address these issues.

Climate Fair

Explore and learn more about climate change through a vast array of media as well as innovations and art exhibitions related to environment, agriculture, health and society.

Panel Discussions

Panelists will share what came from youth roundtables and use the outcomes to shape an interactive public discussion with all conference participants and invited guests.

Youth Roundtables

This section of the second day of the NYCCC will host three roundtable discussions on Climate Change issues in water and Energy. A variety of participants will attend the roundtables with a mixture of policy decision makers, experts in topics and representatives of youth organisations, environmental clubs and social and private enterprises. The results of these discussions will be presented in a report after the close of NYCCC and be made public.

This is a wrap up session of all roundtable discussions held on day 1 and day 2 of the conference. Youth opinions, ideas and perceptions on climate change impacts on sectors that shape our society including energy, water, biodiversity, pollution, agriculture, health and disasters; will be summarised and shared by young people themselves.
